Foreign investors in the region

• The region is highly attractive to investors from around the world. In fact, about 150 FDI project were located within the North Moravia region during last 15 years and 25,000 jobs were newly created.

• There are many foreign-backed companies who have discovered the advantages of locating in the Czech industrial heartland. Major foreign investors in the region include Visteon (USA), Hayes-Lemmerz (USA), Siemens (Germany), Hyundai (South Korea), Continental (USA), ON Semiconductor (USA) and Bang & Olufsen (Denmark).
• The Koprivnice locality boasts a modern, highly developed industrial base, and is home to some of the most successful companies in the world. The area has been particularly successful in bringing in high technology companies.
