The construction of such a significant project by the town of Koprivnice is a result of the great effort which the town has made to invest in employment-support and development for the future prosperity of the region's economy. So far €4.22m has been spent on purchasing land and building the necessary infrastructure and other €2.41m has been spent on a new factory building for rental.
The construction of the Koprivnice Industrial Park has been greatly welcomed and supported by the inhabitants of both Koprivnice and surrounding towns.
It is also supported by state institutions and development and investment agencies. The project has received substantial support from the Phare Foundation and by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. Grants totalling €4.7m have been received for the construction of the Park.
